This intricate print was designed by Alexis Snell and inspired by a dream told to her in great detail by her son. The clean lines and graphic shapes typical of lino cut printing depict a richly layered scene containing fish, squid, skulls and coral brought to life in contemporary grey colour. This Alexis Snell design was printed onto fabric using EcoFast digital pigment printing methods, which use 50% less water than traditional print techniques. Smooth velvet piping in a matching hue provides the finishing touch. This outdoor cushion is printed on a polyester cloth with a shower resistant finish which is also anti-mould, anti-mildew, and anti-microbial, and has been filled with a hollow fibre pad. We do recommend, however, that these scatter cushions are looked after carefully and are best used in dry weather. As with most outdoor textiles, they prefer to be stored inside when they are not being used, or during periods of wet, cold, or damp weather.
