Savoiardi biscuits have a long and royal history – being named the ‘official’ biscuit of the court of Savoy in the 1400s. The Di Ciaccio family haven’t been making them for quite that long, but with over 100 years of experience, they’re about as close as anyone can be. Made with fresh eggs, sugar, and a pinch of starch, they create a light and fragrant biscuit. Perfect enjoyed with coffee, fresh ice-cream or dunked into a syllabub.
