Modica has a rich history of chocolate making. First introduced to Sicily by Spaniards in the 1600s, who themselves inherited the techniques from the Aztecs, there is a storied past here. And the Corallo family are proud of their ancient heritage. Working the chocolate cold, like tradition demands, they create a chocolate bar that’s completely unique. Crumbly and bitter-sweet, with an incredibly powerful flavour that retains many more of the natural vitamins, minerals and antioxidants found in cocoa beans.
